4. Service providers and overseas processing
The contact form is processed by Web3Forms, which acts as a service provider for form delivery. Web3Forms states that its infrastructure includes Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare and Hetzner, and that form data may be processed in multiple countries. This website is also delivered and protected through Cloudflare. Personal information may therefore be processed outside Japan, subject to the providers’ contractual and security measures.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to service providers acting on our behalf, professional advisers where reasonably necessary, a successor in connection with a business reorganisation, or authorities and other parties where required or permitted by law. Service providers may use the information only to perform the relevant service, subject to their applicable terms.
6. Retention
We retain enquiry records only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and manage related business discussions, ordinarily no longer than three years after the last substantive contact, unless a longer period is required for legal, accounting, dispute-resolution or legitimate business-record purposes. Web3Forms states that submission data is retained for a maximum of three years, or less where deleted earlier or a shorter plan period applies.
7. Security
We use reasonable organisational and technical measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. Internet transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please do not submit highly sensitive information through the general enquiry form.
8. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about our handling of your personal data and ask for access, correction, suspension of use or deletion. We may need to verify your identity and may retain information where the law permits or requires it. Send requests to ann@mejera.com.
9. Cookies, local storage and logs
This website stores your language preference in your browser. Cloudflare and other essential infrastructure may process security cookies and technical logs needed to deliver and protect the site. We do not currently use advertising cookies or sell browsing information.
10. Changes and contact
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our services, providers or legal obligations. The current version and effective date will be posted on this page. Questions or complaints may be sent to ann@mejera.com.
